Emerging Technology, Part 1

In the article that i read it is about light field photography. What amazed me was that a picture could be adjusted even after the picture has been taken. In the future i think that the the camera will be able o capture better pictures. IN this article it say that in the future there are trying to capture 3-D images.

In 2009, a man name Adam Cheye Developed a software that is your assistant. What surprised me the most how siri the most use iPhone software was thought as a emerging thing.

My interviews

Interview 1: My Cousin Palak

I works at Cabela's  I am the Learner and Development Specialist. I am in charge of all leadership programs at Cabela’s such as Emerging Leaders, Leaders Developing Leaders, Leaders Developing Leaders II, and Prescriptive Leaders. These programs focus on leadership development for our employees. We are engaging our leaders to think outside of the box and what it will take to lead in the 21st century. At Cabela’s we recognize the powerful impact leaders have on our company and we have these programs to help leaders continue delivering innovative ideas. I work with these high-potential leaders in their careers and give them more exposure to our leadership team, and help them with development opportunities and encouraging them. I am also in charge of 180/360 degree survey assessments. This is a tool that provides feedback to the employee, feedback includes the employee’s manager, direct reports, peers, and self-rating. The survey measures different employee behaviors. After the survey is completed by everyone, I generate reports on the 180/360 degree survey and consult/coach with each employee and help them create an Individual Development Plan. On how they can change their behaviors in a positive way. I part take in our Diversity & Inclusion plan at Cabela’s. I help the manager start our Diversity & Inclusion plans and am part of the committee. I plan different activities at Cabela’s that show why Diversity & Inclusion is important. Help employees understand that Diversity & Inclusion is important because everyone should be treated with respect and Diversity & Inclusion is about how you THINK and less about how you LOOK. You need a Bachelors Degree which is 4 years of College. I LOVE my job and enjoy it as well. It is not a job to me, but my passion. Every morning I am super happy to wake up and get ready for work.
